Dr Korb obtained an M.B.,Ch.B from the University of the Free State in 2006, followed by a Diploma in Emergency Care (DipPEC) from the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa in 2008.

In 2013 she attained fellowship with the College of Physicians of South Africa and passed the clinical examination with distinction, being awarded the Asher Dubb Medal for the best candidate in the May 2013 examination.

In 2014 she was awarded a Masters degree in Medicine (MMed) from the University of the Witwatersrand.
​
Dr Korb started a full time private medical practice at Life Wilgeheuwel Hospital in 2014. Since starting a private practice as a general physician at a busy private hospital she has not only co-authored a number of case reports, but been an active member of the advisory committee of specialists (MAC). Dr Korb is currently the chairperson of the MAC at Life Wilgeheuwel Hospital.
